Could you introduce yourself in a few sentences?
I write and perform on keys in our band Turn Back to Spring, an electronic pop act with Katie Tomczynska, based in london. I also write record and produce other artists, the biggest artist I have recorded is probably Ed Sheeran.
Tell us how you got into music in the first place and what you’ve done since?
I started writing music for computer games way back on the C64/amiga, then mainly dance music and remixes, later i moved into studio engineering. Now i work for Apple whilst working on my own material and work with other artists.
Why did you choose this particular song to remix? How did you approach it?
Webs was my favourite track that Madeleine had posted that i heard, so when the opportunity to remix it popped up i leapt on it! I approached it by disassembling it down to its core, then began rebuilding and created a melodic padding for it to float amongst.
What would i be doing if i weren’t a musician?
I’d be a formula one driver, i LOVE motorsport. Failing that i also love portrait photography.
